书缘寻踪

史泰龙在片中饰演杰拉尔德，他被一本名为《到达我》的心灵励志书所吸引，并决定重新衡量他们的决定，努力克服生活中恐惧，迈向更为积极的生活。杰拉尔德只是其中一位被这本书所吸引的人，还有五位不同身份，不同年龄的人有着与史泰龙相同的经历。他们分别是记者（凯文·康诺利饰）、出狱的罪犯（凯拉·塞吉维克饰）、嘻哈大腕（Nelly饰）、演员（加利·艾尔维斯饰）以及卧底警察（托马斯·简饰）等。
